GYTR and Dubach Racing Development worked closely with QuadCross Champion Dustin Nelson to develop a race-ready slip-on exhaust specifically for the 2009 Yamaha YFZ 450. This beautifully crafted piece of technology solidly delivers a boost in mid and top-end power.
We've seen it first-hand too watching Nelson tear up the track at LA County Raceway earlier this year as he made double step-ups look like ant hills on a GYTR accessorized YFZ. The following weekend he massacred the competition at Glen Helen debuting his GYTR equipped YFZ450.
The GYTR slip-on exhaust features a hard-anodized oval aluminum muffler shell and cone-style end cap. It is completely rebuildable and uses a stock heat shield.
The only drawback to this muffler is that its restricted to closed-course competition as determined by the EPA. Using it on regular trails could result in a hefty penalty. However, if you're a track fanatic or racer wannabee, this is the perfect accessory for your new YFZ and will get you ahead of the pack in a hurry.
